For over a year, Framework has been honored to be a part of Universal Pictures’ phenomenal marketing and publicity campaign for “Straight Outta Compton”.
Starting with the initial announcement poster photo shoot, Framework’s production team was on-set during filming, capturing custom footage and images for movie key-art, media partnership campaigns, original broadcast and digital spots, and the film and cast’s identity campaigns. We were allowed unprecedented access to talent behind this project, working with F. Gary Gray, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and the cast.
Our editorial group completed an array of original broadcast, digital content and marketing spots, helping promote the film and its powerful central message of resisting censorship and civil oppression.
Media partners for these campaigns include: Viacom Networks (MTV, VH1, Spike, BET, Comedy Central) and A&E Network.
Framework celebrates a phenomenal piece of filmmaking with our friends at Universal Pictures, all their partner networks and agencies. “Straight Outta Compton” is a compelling, timely, and important story: an unflinching look at a controversial and culture-shifting group of extremely talented young artists. The legacy of N.W.A and their influence on music and society speaks for itself through this film.
